Rocked in the NBA…
The Houston Rockets suffered their seventh straight loss against the Denver Nuggets with 111:124. But the bankruptcy almost faded into the background due to a huge Zoff in the cabin.
What happened?
Assistant coach John Lucas reportedly mercilessly criticized Rockets stars Kevin Porter Jr. (21) and Christian Wood (26) in the locker room in front of the team, reports ESPN. Then the pieces flew away. It should have gotten into a wild argument. The result: Porter Jr. left the Toyota Center and did not participate in the second half.
After the game, coach Stephen Silas (49) spoke of a “heated debate” over PK, but did not elaborate. The coach explained: “I have certain demands on my team in terms of passion and I was not satisfied with today’s effort.”
