La Paz, Baja California Sur (BCS). According to sports sources, the capital of Baja California Sur would once again have a professional football team; it is expected to arrive as a Tampico franchise, and would be called Club Atlético La Paz.

It should be mentioned that these speculations were derived from the Olergi Group – owners of the entire Jaiba Brava, Santos and Atlas Futebol Clube—, announced this Wednesday, April 20, that he would no longer continue to manage his current team.

“He has decided to suspend his participation in the Expansion League with TM Fútbol Club in Tampico, Tamaulipas, so he is exploring the possibility of continuity in the future of the franchise,” he said in his statement.

In this sense, it began to circulate on social networks that the team from Tampico would have to be transferred to another city to be managed by other entrepreneurs; among its possibilities was the return of the Veracruz red teamor the Jaguars in Chiapas.

Meanwhile, the information was expanded to indicate that the state capital would receive the franchise, under the name of Club Atlético La Paz; In addition, it is estimated that those interested in bringing the project to the capital are the same ones responsible for the Ciudad Guzmán Mazorqueros project, who compete in the Premier League Series A.

In turn, the social media of the new football club La Paz would already be present, starting with their Facebook page, which is assumed to have been created at the beginning of this children’s month.
